Everyone in this world needs money. To get the three basic needs of life, namely food, shelter and clothing, we need money. And after having all the basics with us, we want to live a lavish life… this is simply because we want fame, power, which are the characteristics of human nature, so no problem with that. Now coming to main topic, “if I had been given one million dollar, what would I do with it?” first of all, I will not take that amount free, I will devote my time to deliver something which would be equivalent to that money. I want live my life with dignity. Now, one million dollar enough to buy a new home, a new sports car and other things which a man always dreams of. But it is fact that 80% of the total money in this world is in the hands of only 20% people. So, there is huge unbalance in economy, though we use to cherish our country’s growing GDP, but this is certainly not affecting the condition of poor people. To get there basic needs they have to fight hard everyday. The actual growth will come when everyone in this world has their basic education and mental growth. In India according to govt. report the no. of educated people is 70% of total population, but I really doubt this. In villages, finding a student who has completed graduation is a tough job. And the condition of female education is very poor too. So, I want to spend this whole amount to educate everybody properly. For this, I would need to set up some schools with proper facilities, libraries with huge collection of books. Also, I need to organize campaigns to reach the peoples of the remote villages. I want to build an organization like “room to read” to handle all this concerns together. So, this is simply what I will do with one million, after all only an educated person can understand the value of his/her life, the value of others too, the very purpose of us is not to live happily in ours self-centric  life, but to live happily with all of us together. Now, what will you do with one million dollar?
